Birthday Bunny

The best thing I love about crafting is the people you met when sharing your works on the internet. We are a great crafting community which is so inspiring and a happy place to be. Some of us get together in blog hops to share our love for cardmaking - and we call us the happy insta girls, because we met on Instagram :D Some of us even met in real life and become good friends.

So this birthday card is for a fellow insta girl and really inspiring cardmaker:
Sonja (sonjakstampart on instagram)

For the background I choose to watercolor some stripes with Distress Inks, matching the colors in the bunny's clothes and the die cut 'happy'. For the second part of the sentiment I heat emossed the word 'birthday' with clear embossing powder on watercolor paper and used the same Distress Ink to create a matching panel. Then I die cut the panel with the same wonky stitched circle to match the textured cardstock circle.

I popped up eveything with foam tape (except for the 'happy' ;) )
