Keep cozy - lawnscaping challenge No. 118

Hello there,

december is just around the corner and we had the first snow of the season a few days ago. My favourite sweater for this kind of wheather is a cozy grey one with a light pink argyle pattern. That sweater keeps me warm and is soooo soft and I am always so excited when the weather is getting colder so I can wear it again.

I stamped the Argyle pattern on this card with distress ink in peacock feathers - one of my favourite colours. Then I took my waterbrush and some pearlescent watercolor paint and carefully retrace the shapes. I also colored the snowflakes with the pearlescent paint.

The stitched lines and the sentiment are embossend with liquid platinum embossing powder.

Hope you enjoy and happy crafting,
Claudia

Happy Birthday

Hello again

Today I have a Birthday card to share which I made for a good friend of mine - it's her birthday today :D

I colored the background blending different shades of green distress inks and spritzed it with water and glimmer mist. After it was completely dry I die-cut the word happy from the background and three times from white cardstock. I glued them all on top of each other and place it back, it fits perfectly. I coated the word with glossy accents to give it a bit of contrast.

I spelled the word birthday from die cut letters and embossed them with an emerald green glitter embossing powder.

Hope you enjoy and happy cardmaking
Claudia

Warm wishes and a hot chocolate - Lawnscaping challenge No. 117

What's better than snuggled up in a blanket on the couch with a hot chocolate?

If someone's having a rough week or something to get over it would be such a sweet gesture to send this card with a one serving hot chocolate kit - saying "I'm thinking of you, hope you feel better soon"

This was my very first stamp set by lawn fawn and it is still my all time favourite :) I love the swirly sentiments and all the cute cups and smiley faces :D
